Unikura supports Japanese e-commerce shops to be Web3 and start listing (22.Dec.2023)

On December 22, 2023, Unikura revamped its smart contract and launched a service that allows Japanese e-commerce shops to sell their products as ownership NFTs through Unikura for the international market.

Japanese e-commerce shops faced challenges with international shipping, overseas payment, and customer support. However, with the recent depreciation of the JPY and the resumption of overseas travel, there is a growing demand from overseas users for Japanese products, especially rare and valuable used items. These shops have been exploring solutions to cater to this demand. Particularly in areas such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and the USA, where many customers own cryptocurrencies, there is a need to purchase their favorite products with the profits they have gained from the recent cryptocurrency market boom. The collaboration with Unikura aims to fulfill this need.
