VELVETT launches Closed Beta Test for New Bulk Selling App, IKURAS

VELVETT Japan, Inc., a strategic subsidiary in Japan, has initiated a closed beta test for its new bulk selling app, IKURAS, involving hundreds of users.

IKURAS is designed for individuals who want to easily sell their collector’s items in bulk, enabling them to receive simultaneous bids from multiple professional shops. For reuse businesses, the app provides an opportunity to purchase secondhand goods in bulk while also acquiring new customers. By leveraging LLM (AI), IKURAS significantly enhances operational convenience for both sellers and buyers, making the process 10 times more efficient.

The app also features a tap-based mini-game. Users can visit daily to nurture their in-app characters, which evolve over time and unlock various rewards. Engaging in sustainable activities such as reuse and decluttering through IKURAS accelerates the character’s growth.

This closed beta test is currently limited to a few hundred users and several dozen buyers in Japan. Based on the results and feedback from the beta phase, the app is expected to be officially released on the App Store soon.
